Driven by emotion and always searching for silver linings, I want my work to tell stories that reflect my personal experiences. I start with the story and then I escape into capturing the detail within a subject, a practice that provides a magical relief from the pressure of reality. I find immense joy in getting to the heart of things and making an authentic connection with my collectors.
I have always followed a winding, creative path since I was a child with Visual Arts being my strongest subject at school. I hold a Bachelor of Creative Arts/Law and have worked as a web designer, graphic designer and illustrator and have finally become what I have always wanted to be, an artist.
Looking ahead, my goal is to carve out my own unique path and to fulfil my purpose of honouring the people who saved my sons life.
15% of all of my profits will go to the Heart Centre for Children at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
