The world feels heavy. Incompetent, cruel choices driven by ego, selfishness and greed, it’s hard not to lose faith. It’s hard not to feel powerless.

But I still believe in the good days - I stubbornly hold onto hope.

I hold onto the people who try to bring goodness, kindness, acceptance and compassion. I hold onto the simple things. I hold tight to the people that I love. I try to live the change that I hope there will be.

These things keep us afloat in dark times, they are the light at the end of the tunnel and allow us to grow and heal through adversity.
